The Purple Ribbon Movement is a grassroots movement born in the United States in 1994 by victims of violence against women. It has now expanded into an international movement.

This is the illumination of the National Women's Education Center.

Volunteers are pasting their thoughts on campaign panels again this year.

We are all working together to work on the exhibition.

Installing it on a large boat is a difficult task.

Add some pretty ribbons and it's complete.

We are also cheering you on with purple flowers from the flowerbed. In the evening, the entrance to the main building is lit up in purple.

Flower beds Autumn replanting,October 2023.

On the afternoon of October 10th, we gathered to prepare the flowerbeds.

This time's flowerbed maintenance work includes pruning, picking flowers, applying fertilizer, and planting additional seedlings.

We will renovate your flower bed using our experienced procedures.

It's his turn to do the heavy lifting with the shovel.　

Just like us humans, flowers need a comfortable environment (soil) and delicious food (fertilizer).

The volunteers had fun maintaining the flower beds.

Once the flower bed work is finished, the meeting begins with a fun discussion of flowers and small talk.

NWEC's persimmons understand the seasons and have prepared delicious food for the birds.
