NWEC-tanabata is the one beautifully decorated by the NWEC-staff and
 NWEC-volunteers every year.
In tanabata of a traditional event, (The alias is called Star Festival),
our wish is written in the slip of paper that is called "tanzaku" and
it installs it in the tree branch of the bamboo.
The entire people are holding deep sadness in Japanese citizen for
 "3.11 East Japan earthquake" now.
We set a main theme of the wish.
This year's theme is "Recovery and requiescat. "

All of decorations are hand made by NWEC-volunteers.
Volunteers are happily weaving the paper folding while shining,
and recalling eyes like the girl.

 The work is divided
 right and left because
it is a too big Star
Festival ornament and
 it decorates it.

It introduces the legend from the antiquity about manners that write the wish in the strip of paper.
It is said that the progress of the learning thing is fulfilled when the dew collected in the leaf of
the aroid is collected, the Indian ink is printed, and the character like the wish etc. is spelt with
the Indian ink.
As for the strip of paper, the five-colored (green, bright red, yellow, white, and black) paper with
the meaning told from the Buddhism from old times is used.

 Address of thanks to chief
director of National Women's
Education Center Michiko
Kanda.

We learnt a lot of wisdoms and courages
from her. And, elegant settled way to talk
and large-boned action posture will become
our models.
Thank you really for leading our volunteer
for seven years and three months.
